Strato Ballon- Film from start

We invite you to watch the film of the launch of our stratospheric balloon. The launch took place in Rockenhausen on May 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. The flight lasted 2 hours 46 minutes, rising to an altitude of 36 km. Our search team found it on a German farmer's farm 25 km from the launch site. The balloon landed safely on a parachute. All the measuring equipment prepared by us survived extreme conditions in the stratosphere. On board the balloon were test tubes with liquids and gas and slime mold, a camera and 3 sets of measuring systems with Python software, which recorded parameters in the stratosphere, including pressure, temperature, humidity, UV radiation, volatile organic compounds, CO2 and the voltage generated by the solar panel. Extreme conditions prevailed in the stratosphere. Our raspberry Pi Pico2 on board recorded the lowest pressure of 2.1 hPa, minimum temperature of -50 degrees Celsius and minimum humidity of 6%, high levels of UV radiation and high levels of CO2. You can find the processed results on this page.
